GUSTAVO REMBER

With a background as singer, and educated as Engineer, and Economics and Math teacher, he started dancing tango in 2003, after listening to tango his whole childhood.

Among HIS TEACHERS we may mentioned: Gabriela Elías, Horacio Godoy, Carlos Copello, Fabián Peralta, Natacha Poberaj, Carlos Pérez, Cecilia García, Mariela Sametband, Moira Castellano, Chicho Frúmboli y Juana Sepúlveda

Summarizing HIS PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY as teacher, dancer and organizer we may mentioned:
- Teacher at La Viruta Tango and Nueva Escuela Argentina del Tango (both institutions among the most well known in the tango scene in Buenos Aires)
- Organizer of the famous Misterio Tango Festival from 2009 until 2018 in Buenos Aires
- Workshops/Performances all around Argentina, Uruguay, England, Sweden, and USA.
- Performances in all the traditional milongas in Bs As (La Milonguita, La Viruta, Canning. Maldita Milonga, Soho Tango, DNI tango, etc).....and the rest of Argentina.

HIS STYLE combines the best of traditional tango and new tango, in a very playful and musical way. Because of his permanent participation in the milongas, he has developed an exquisite sense about tango as a social dance, dancing in reduced spaces, and able to adapt to different styles, partners, and circumstances, as very few professional dancers are able to do. And that is why we have chosen him to introduce this important subject in one of the classes of our trip.

Here, the dance starts after a 2 min presentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPxW4d6IGUc
